Borderlands 2 tells the story of four new Vault Hunters who fight to liberate Pandora from the grip of Handsome Jack, the brilliant and perfectly villainous director of the Hyperion Corporation. Players battle across Pandora to try to prevent Jack from awakening an ancient malevolent alien entity called the Warrior. Their adventure brings them into contact with old acquaintances from the first game, among whom they will recognize the four original Vault Hunters: Roland, Lilith, Brick, and Mordecai.
