We are in 1997, the date of the release of the special edition of the first Star Wars trilogy in cinemas. This is the beginning of the second big wave of Star Wars merchandising (which has never stopped since). In France, the BN biscuits offer a collectible card game. We collect these cards randomly in the BN cake packets found in stores. The game is quite commercially successful (which can be judged by the fact that the cards are regularly exchanged in the school playgrounds of the time). Some cards have remained very difficult to find, particularly the cards whose illustration has been reworked during the course of marketing, when the success of the game began to wane. The main attraction of this collection certainly lies in the "Frenchifications" of the characters' names: Luc Skywalker, Yann Solo, the Motoranger, the Gamorre guard, and the famous Z-6PO (with variable spelling depending on the versions of the cards) are true rarities that plunge us back into the 80s.
