This monster can take the ATK and DEF of 1 monster from your opponent's field (a face-down monster has 0 ATK and DEF). Treat the selected monster as an Equip Spell Card and use it to equip "The Renounced". You can only use this effect once per turn and you can only equip "The Renounced" with 1 monster at a time. When one of your opponent's monsters attacks this monster with an ATK higher than that of "The Renounced", the Equipped monster is destroyed instead of this card. While "The Renounced" is equipped, any battle damage you take is also inflicted to your opponent.
