Mew Antique (Promo) Mew or Mew Antique is a promotional Pokémon card, featuring the Pokémon of the same name, Mew. Abilities: Attack Psychic Energy x2 Psycho-Claw 40 Pokémon Description: New species Little god... or evil Special Rules: This card has been banned from all tournaments, as it has no English equivalent. Even though the card is named with three runes reading Mew, its name is considered to be Mew Antique. The player can therefore have four Mew Antique and four Mew cards in their deck if they wish. Notes: This card was one of the four distributed at the cinema for the purchase of a ticket for the film "The Power is in You", accompanied by a card indicating to go translate the card at the Pokémon League. This card appears in the same film, as being the card that marked the beginning of Lawrence III's collection. In Japan, the earliest versions of this card indicated Nintedo instead of Nintendo. This card is written using runes. Nevertheless, the language remains English. Although the name of the attack, in English "Psyche", corresponds to "Psyko", the official French translation for this card (proposed at the time in the form of an activity on the back of an event game mat) is "Psyko-Griffe".
