You have a choice of 18 iconic characters, including Mario, Yoshi and Donkey Kong, and the game offers even more ways to play Mario Power Tennis than there are trophies on Roger Federer's fireplace. The Tournament mode allows you to play singles and doubles matches in championships like the Kingdom Open. Defeat special opponents to climb the rankings and unlock bonuses! And in Exhibition mode, it's up to you: you select the options and play on one of the ten Gadget Courts, including the Peach Dome and Luigi's Mansion. And to top it all off, there are even a multitude of games in the Special Games section where you can test your artistic skills on the court or even target ghosts in Terror Tennis.. . Mario Power Tennis is part of the NEW WAY TO PLAY! range, aimed at introducing or rediscovering the best GameCube games with the innovative Wii controls. The Wii remote acts as a tennis racket and you have to handle it like a real racket. You can simply return the ball or make smashes as you see fit, but each character has their own devastating moves that you activate by shaking the Wii remote and pressing certain buttons. And you can even join friends, as up to four players can compete in frantic matches or have fun together in the Special Games mode.. .
