Magical Creature: Cornish Pixie NN7678

Beware of these mischievous creatures! Indeed, the Cornish pixie (Pixie in English) is known for its pranks and the many troubles it can cause. Very small in size and bright blue in color, this species is mainly found in England, in the county of Cornwall, which will give it its name. The Cornish pixies are described as wingless in the book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Yet it is with wings that we find them in the films. It is in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets that we discover these creatures for the first time. Gilderoy Lockhart, then the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, releases Cornish pixies in the classroom.
