Yagami and Sakuragi have been friends for a long time and are the best badminton teammates in their high school, until the day they meet Niresaki Hijiri, the reigning national champion. The latter proposes to Sakuragi to team up with him and promises to take him to the highest level of the sport. To prove his worth, Niresaki proposes a duel match, the loser of which must accept the winner's decision. Confident of winning, Sakuragi accepts the deal without hesitation. After a very tight match, Sakuragi loses and is forced to accept, much to Yagami's dismay, who feels betrayed beyond friendship and the team spirit that united them. A terrible training then begins for Sakuragi, who seems to gradually enjoy this new sports challenge. On his side, despite his efforts, Yagami fails to recover Sakuragi, so he teams up with Kensuke, another excellent player. Everything seems to follow its course, until the appearance of a mysterious badminton fan who will upset the rules established by the boys!
