Food Wars! (Shokugeki no Soma?) is a culinary manga written by Yuto Tsukuda and drawn by Shun Saeki, with the participation of Yuki Morisaki for the dishes. It has been serialized since November 2012 in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine of the Shueisha publisher and 27 volumes were released in November 2017. The French version has been published by Tonkam since September 2014. "Soma Yukihira dreams of becoming a chef in the family restaurant and thus surpassing the culinary talents of his father. While Soma has just graduated from middle school, his father Joichiro Yukihira closes the restaurant to travel and cook around the world. Soma's competitive spirit will then be tested by his father who advises him to join an elite culinary school, where only 10% of the students graduate. Will Soma succeed in achieving his goal?"
