Bayard

French comic book magazine published from 1936 to 1962 until it becomes "Record". Bayard was a weekly Catholic youth magazine printed in color. It was the great rival of "Coeurs Vaillants". The pre-series called "before the war" includes 234 issues from January 5, 1936 to June 23, 1940 (The last 2 issues were not published in kiosks) 3 other series were published "after the war": - First series including 499 issues from December 8, 1946 to June 24, 1956, - Second series including 250 issues from June 24, 1956 to April 9, 1961, - Third series including 40 issues from April 16, 1961 to January 14, 1962.
