Le Noël de Mickey

On Christmas Eve, the selfish and cantankerous Ebenezer Scrooge receives a visit from the ghost of his former business partner, Jacob Marley. He tries to convince him of the immorality of his usurer profession. Jacob himself, who "cheated widows and preyed on the poor", shows Ebenezer the heavy chains he is condemned to wear "for eternity... and perhaps even beyond". Jacob threatens Ebenezer with damnation if he does not return to a more moral conduct. After this interview, Scrooge receives the successive visits of three spirits, who embody the Christmases past, present and future. Each of the three ghosts makes him realize that he will only find peace by devoting himself to others.
