Every 23 years, a malevolent creature emerges from the depths of the Earth and takes flight, sowing terror and death for 23 days. Its name: the Creeper. On the 22nd day of this infernal cycle, farmer Jack Taggart sees his young son Billy kidnapped and devoured by the monster. A few kilometers away, a school bus transporting a basketball team, their coaches and cheerleaders, mysteriously breaks down in the middle of the countryside. Night is approaching. The Creeper, enticed, descends upon its young prey. A desperate fight for survival then begins...
