Walter White, 50, is a chemistry teacher at a high school in New Mexico. To provide for Skyler, his pregnant wife, and Walt Junior, his disabled son, he is forced to work twice as hard. His already gloomy daily life becomes completely dark when he learns that he is suffering from an incurable lung cancer. Doctors give him no more than two years to live. To quickly raise a lot of money to protect his family, Walter sees only one solution: put his chemistry knowledge to profit to manufacture and sell crystal meth, a synthetic drug that brings in a lot. He proposes to Jesse, one of his former students who has become a small-time dealer, to team up with him. The improvised duo sets up a mobile lab in an old RV.
