Starting in 1949, Pinder organized fabulous parades in the streets of the cities where his performances took place. Many motorized floats, the orchestra, the cavalry and even herds of elephants participated. In 1950, a vehicle opened the parade, a 13 hp MATFORD V8F 472C (Franco-American collaboration of Mattis and Ford). This van did not belong to Pinder, but to the Laboual company, which was in charge of the concession of the circus's ancillary sales.
The van topped with a large "white clown" therefore opened the grand parade. Note that the car is registered 7495 FS 9 according to the old registration.
