The first official "James Bond Car", the Sunbeam Alpine convertible from James Bond 007 against Dr. No (1962) is a 1962 model, a Series II of English manufacture equipped with a 1.6 liter 88 horsepower engine. This car is not unknown to cinema fans as one of its "ancestors" had top billing in Alfred Hitchcock's To Catch a Thief in 1955.
