At the Rheinstein Castle, Yoko, Vic and Pol participate in a harpsichord recording session with Ingrid. A parasitic noise interrupts the session. Yoko goes out on the terrace and discovers a Vinean overflyer. On the control screen, a recorded message from Khâny asks her to join her as soon as possible. Yoko and Émilia board the craft that takes them back to Loch Castle, not to the cottage but to the ruins of a medieval castle. Inside, a cave, formerly occupied by Cistercian monks driven out by Henry VIII, opens up to them. They join Lâthy there, who tells them that Zarkâ, the "servant of Lucifer", wants Yoko to join her...
