During a visit to the American air base in Evreux, Steve introduces Michel to Major Paul Kauttu, leader of the Thunderbirds, the most famous acrobatic pilot team in the U.S. Army. Steve challenges the pilots to a bet: two of the Thunderbird pilots will race with them on the Le Mans circuit, while they themselves will fly with two of the Thunderbird pilots. The bet is on, we'll have to see which team, the Thunderbirds or our two pilots, has the steadier nerves.
