Les Trois Sœurs Minkelsönn

Faced with a terrible famine, the Vikings have left the village to hunt. In their absence, Björn, son of Gandalf, and brother of Aaricia, acts as the chief. Resentful towards Thorgal, the young bastard scald dear to the heart of his sister, he proposes to sacrifice him to the gods in order to calm their anger. Suddenly, three whales, bewitched by Thorgal's song, enter the cove of the village. A great opportunity for the villagers to feed themselves! But Thorgal understands that these are not true whales: they are very beautiful young girls turned into whales by the jealous goddess Frigg. Thorgal then makes a promise to save them at all costs and embarks on a quest full of pitfalls and wonders.
