During the period from 1975 to 1983, Sagédition published in a very irregular way a collection entitled "Appel de la jungle". Sometimes the mention "special collectors" was indicated on the cover. The paper was of better quality than the rest of the publications. Fourteen titles were published in the 22x28 format and two in the 13x18 pocket format (Tarzan Pocket) The No. 1 devoted to Korak, the No. 2 taking up European stories. These two issues could be considered as belonging to another collection, since unlike the large formats, they included several stories, but the term "Appel de la jungle" is clearly written on them. This series is a must-have. It begins with the illustrator Russ Manning and presents us in seven issues the Sunday pages from the beginning, page 1922, up to page 2256. These are re-editions from Tarzan Giant. There is also a collection featuring Opar the City of Blood, The Thieves of Time and Pal-ul-don the Kingdom of the Past. Then we will find a number entitled "The Land of Mua-Ao", drawn by Burne Hogarth, then we move on to five Tarzan adventures drawn by Brocal Remohi and José Ortiz.
