Disney Infinity

Disney Infinity, launched in 2013, marked Disney's entry into the world of video games associated with figurines. This innovative concept, inspired by the success of Skylanders, allowed players to bring to life their favorite Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars characters in an interactive virtual world. Each carefully designed figurine unlocked a playable character in the game, creating a unique bridge between the physical and digital worlds.

The game offered two main modes: the Play Set mode, offering adventures based on specific universes, and the Toy Box mode, a creative sandbox where players could freely mix all the characters and elements. This creative freedom was particularly appreciated, allowing for unprecedented crossovers between different Disney universes.

Although the series ended in 2016 after three major editions, Disney Infinity remains an important chapter in the history of video games and collectible figurines, having left a lasting imprint on popular culture and the toy industry.
