Ganondorf, the Lord of Evil, is the sworn enemy of Link in most of the games in The Legend of Zelda series. As an incarnation of evil, he wants to rule over Hyrule. He stole a piece of the Triforce when Link removed the legendary sword from its pedestal in the Temple of Time. In possession of the Triforce of Power, he plunged the kingdom of Hyrule into darkness until Link and Zelda managed to defeat him.
