Batman's very first enemy, the Joker appeared in 1940 in the first issue of the Batman comic. He is still to this day the most famous enemy of the masked vigilante, whether in comics, films (The Dark Knight, in 2008), animated series (Batman: The Animated Series, in 1992) or video games (Batman: Arkham Asylum, in 2009). Unpredictable, ultra-violent, for him, life is a joke that can turn at any moment, and he proves it in the most psychotic way possible, by destroying lives and buildings. Laughing.
This statuette represents a nightmare Joker, emerging from a greenish acid vat, with a particularly terrifying face, adorned with a costume rich in various sculptures evoking the super-villain's past, with almost skeletal hands, the right one holding a flower connected to a tube from his chest.
It is part of the Gotham City Nightmare collection from the manufacturer Sideshow, whose theme is: what would the characters of Gotham look like if seen through eyes filled with terror?
This exclusive edition comes with an alternative head with curly hair and clenched teeth, as well as an exhibition base for the unused head.
