Rejected due to his frail physique, his determination does not go unnoticed, however. He is recruited to participate in a program aimed at creating a super soldier through a serum. The experiment works. Steve becomes capable of lifting 500 kg, running 100 meters in less than 5 seconds, and jumping 6 meters high. His perception, memory, endurance, and resistance to disease or poison are also exceptional. He goes to fight the Nazis under the identity of Captain America, but disappears in the Arctic Ocean at the end of the war. Years later, his body, preserved by the serum, is found by the Avengers.
