"Finally! The new stable is ready!" Delighted, Lissi gets into the car and Mom starts driving. "I hope it's as beautiful as Mr. Miller, the owner, promised!" Lissi whispers to herself. As soon as they arrive at the riding center, she is already in awe. "Wow! It's even more beautiful than I imagined!" It's true that it's magnificent with its green doors and pink frames and windows. Lissi jumps out of the car and enters the stable. Her beloved Arabian mare, Stella, is waiting for her in one of the large stalls. "I missed you so much!" the young girl exclaims. The two friends had to wait two long days before seeing each other again. Lissi wraps her arms around her horse and grabs the box of food full of apples and carrots. She feeds Stella before finally going for a ride with her. What a wonderful day! The sun is shining, a young Arabian foal is frolicking in the enclosure, the birds are chirping, and Lissi is delighted to use the new stable. Later, she will groom her mare and brush her, then offer her a special gift: a brand new blanket to keep her warm.
