Schleich - Tyrannosaurus Rex Figure - 14525
Despite its threatening appearance, the Tyrannosaurus rex could barely use its two small front legs, which had only two claws, as it could not even extend them to its mouth. With a height of almost seven meters and a length of nearly thirteen meters, it is likely that the Tyrannosaurus rex was not a very good hunter but rather a scavenger that fed on what other animals left behind. It had more than fifty teeth, the length of which is estimated to be more than 15 centimeters, but which were used only to tear and not to chew its food, which it swallowed in large pieces. The Tyrannosaurus rex's eye sockets are oriented forward, improving its depth perception during its search for food and allowing the field of vision of each eye to overlap.
