Created in 1935, DC Comics is one of the leading comic book publishers in the United States. It will experience phenomenal success in 1938, with the creation of the first superhero: Superman. Batman will follow in 1939, then Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash and many others.
