The Marvel Infinite Series was a 3 3/4" scale toyline created by Hasbro and released in 2014. The series was created as way to rebrand the Marvel Universe line which many retailers had stopped carrying or lost faith in. The series was originally named and marketed as the Avengers Infinite Series but the final retail series only maintains the iconography of the Avengers, without the name or the effect it would have on the character selection. Despite promises that the series would maintain the sculpting and articulation standards set by the previous series, the Infinite Series saw a sharp decline in both for a majority of the figures starting in the 2015 waves.
