Statuette of Gamora, Thanos' adopted daughter and member of the Guardians of the Galaxy team, in mid-jump during the fight against the tentacled monster, as she appears in the film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, released in 2017. The statuette can be associated with those of Star-Lord, Drax, Baby Groot and Rocket Raccoon, in the same series (sold separately) to recreate the battle scene. Material: resin. Size: approx. 33 cm. A word about the Guardians of the Galaxy: created in 1969, the original Guardians of the Galaxy team is a group of 31st century aliens, joined by Major Vance Astro, a 20th century human. They face a reptilian species trying to conquer the solar system. The series reappears in 2008, with new members such as Adam Warlock, Star-Lord, Rocket Racoon, Groot, Gamora and Drax. It is of course this second team that serves as the basis for James Gunn's 2014 film. The director makes them a group of space adventurers, formidable outcasts with dubious methods but nevertheless ready to sacrifice themselves for the common good. And good music.
