Statuette of Flash, the DC Comics hero who runs faster than time! He is represented here in his red costume with yellow boots and lightning bolts, in the midst of braking. Sculpture based on a drawing by Brazilian artist Ivan Reis. Material: resin. Size: approx. 16 cm. Flash: The character first appeared in 1940 in the pages of Flash Comics #1, and was initially embodied by Jay Garrick and endowed with a winged helmet, like the god Mercury. Jay is a scientist. After exposure to heavy water vapors, he becomes Flash, the hero who moves at a speed close to that of light. He can thus climb skyscrapers or run on water, pass through objects... It will then be Barry Allen, his nephew Wally West and his grandson Bart Allen who will wear the costume, abandoning the helmet for an elegant red and gold hooded bodysuit. Finally, let's add that Flash is a prominent member of the Justice League of America (JLA) and the Justice Society of America (JSA). A very busy man!
