Stan Lee created the first black superhero in American comics in July 1966 for his Marvel publishing house. He is a crown prince of an imaginary kingdom in Central Africa called Wakanda. He has managed to carve out a special place among American superheroes: his best friends are called Thor, Captain America and Iron Man, whom he meets within the Avengers. He is a man of taste since he married the X-Woman Storm in 2006. They even replaced Sue and Reed Richards for a time within the Fantastic Four, and as love does not last very long, they confronted each other in the Avengers vs X-Men comics!
