The revised edition of D&D3, also known as D&D3.5, does not aim to revolutionize the game. Its main objective is to integrate all the errata and minor corrections that three years of testing have allowed to be made since the release of the third edition, while maintaining the essential mechanisms of the game. The two watchwords of this revision seem to be "balancing" and "clarification". This clarification also involves a reworked layout, avoiding untimely page and column breaks and illustrations that interfere with the reading. Among the three volumes that make up this revised edition, the Player's Handbook is probably the one whose aesthetics have changed the least, with the chapter breakdown remaining identical to the first version. However, countless corrections and modifications have been made to the text of the rules.
