- Libellud
Libellud is a board game publishing house created in 2008 by Régis Bonnessée. It even received the 2nd national "Envie d'agir" prize ("social entrepreneurship" category) awarded by the Ministry of Sports, Youth, Popular Education and Associative Life.
The first board game published by Libellud is Dixit, a game by Jean-Louis Roubira and illustrated by Marie Cardouat, which was released in December 2008. The game was a great success with both the public and critics and specialists.
Dixit is sold all over the world and has won many international awards, including the prestigious Spiel des Jahres in 2010. This is the first time that a French author and publisher have received this award.
Libellud likes to develop original games around the imaginary, sharing and dreaming, all supported by quality illustrations and materials. This has become one of Libellud's trademarks.
After Dixit and its expansions, Libellud continues to offer other universes such as Seasons, Lords of Xidit, Loony Quest or soon Mysterium, but always keeping the same guiding principle.
All Libellud games go through thorough laboratory tests and comply with current CE standards.
Libellud's premises are based in Poitiers (86) and the company currently has 9 full-time members.
