Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception, its Japanese name, is a grand epic that will take you on a captivating journey. The game begins at the top of a snowy mountain: a inhospitable and unknown land in the middle of which the protagonist wakes up, surrounded by deadly creatures, with only a hospital gown and a severe headache as companions. He is finally rescued by the beautiful Kuon, who has a tail and adorable animal ears. Realizing that he remembers nothing, Kuon decides to take care of him and names him Haku.
